Seeking a friend with a compatible outlook
Since it is important, I want to emphasize that I am currently separated after 20 years of marriage. The short version would be that we grew apart during my career filled with long international trips. Two years ago, I left the company and now focus on international development opportunities. I travel less, but needed a break after consulting in 55 countries and living in Spain, Mexico and Brazil.Simply put, I believe there is no greater classroom than traveling the globe. I was a National Geographic and Jacques Cousteau freak when I was a kid and still am more likely to be watching PBS than anything else.Of course, travel is all about celebrating local culture and there is no better way to do so than to have hit some of the hottest nightspots around the planet. I love the club scene as long as it includes some serious dancing. Otherwise, I definitely enjoy just relaxing to some jazz.Working from home allows me to focus on getting back into shape. I'm out on my bike about 4 5 days each week, dancing once a week and on a 1500 calorie per day diet. (It's coming off fast!) I also love to golf and it would be very cool to find someone that enjoys the game.But while there alot of positives going on I miss the intimacy of a relationship in every sense...physical, emotional and intellectual.Ahh...the bad news for many is that I'm a smoker with a growing intention to put it behind me..
I tend to be drawn to openminded, well educated, welltraveled types with an interest in the arts. If I could find a golf partner with those qualities it would be ideal.Also, foreign language speakers are most especially welcome...I am fluent in Spanish and Portuguese so... las latinas son super bienvenidas...especialmente as meninas brasileiras!
