looking for a nice woman, or maybe not that nice. a cup of coffee, at least; someone interesting. And someone not in a hurry, I'd like time enough to be through. The only commitment I am looking for is to that cup of coffee.In my life I am missing the sharing of intimate conversations and thoughts and meals. And to be honest I miss sex.My world includes: I enjoy Books Voltaire, Vonnegut, Von Raspe, to mention a couple of the Vs I enjoy Music Tom Russell, Lou Reed (lots of Rs), Bach via Glen Gould, Armstrong via Armstrong to mention a couple I enjoy People watching and gossiping about: their art and love and insanity, and inanities, and sanities, and food and drink. . . Baseball but not football or TV you have to establish limits. . . sometimes If I could have figured out how to take my picture for the computer I might have done it. The current odds are against me figuring that out; sorry, kinda. Anyway; 250 words in lieu of a picture: I am 55 years old, I smoke cigarettes; I don't drink much alcohol, some, not much. Coffee in the morning, teas in the evening. I do spend an hour or so every morning writing unpractical fictions. I am almost 68 inches tall(+/! 3%), I weigh 185lbs. (+/! 3%). There is a recession taking place on my head; I am hoping for an upturn in the near future, but at the same time I am looking for a comfortable hat; without much luck. I feel healthy, my sense of wonder is intact, if some what callused.
Someone for a cup of coffee, or maybe sitting in the park and a talk. A glass of wine at a bar? And that is first, any second things will come second if it feels like it should.
