Accidentally like a martyr
Update: I'm getting tired of being asked to pay bills. If you are looking for that, then you'd better have something to offer in return. Got it?Hello there!I'm relatively new to the Chicagoland area. I made the move from upstate New York in search of a better paying job.So this is an outlet for that for me. I realize the odds of finding interesting people that I'd want to know offline is up there in the needle in a haystack range, but I'm a glutton for punishment.There's lots more I could say, but then where would the draw be for those of you out there?New bits: I'm currently into Warren Zevon music, the John Edwards campaign for president, the squirrels that come onto my balcony to eat the corn and sunflower seeds I set out for them, and Carl Sagan books. I'm politically left of center and getting more so all the time. Not religious in any sense of the word, nor am I likely to be any time soon.
I'm a hard working professional, with little time right now for a personal life, but for the right person I'd be willing to make the time. If I were to enter into a relationship, I'd fully expect a 5050 deal. I want a partner, not someone who won't pull their own weight in whatever terms that means.Honesty. Loyalty.
