I'm just a simple guy who likes simple things. The best things in life are simple my folks used to say. Grew up on a dairy farm, went to California at 14 yo. Stayed for high school, college and 6 years of the marine corps. Lived, worked and played in the city. Now I'm back in the county and will never leave again. If the life of simple is not for you then don't bother. Country girls will understand. If only all could know going to bed and waking up with all the windows wide open, the only good use for air conditioning is preventing heat stroke for the old, am coffee on a screened porch, looking at a glass top lake, trees of hickory, red and white oak, maple, hemlock and elm in each direction as they change with the season, the columnar shape of Eastern red ceader, hearing fishing boats putter by, birds, wind, rain, bass breaching the surface of the lake in the still of night, smell of fresh air that has not been filtered by something, biscuits, gravey and the remnants of an old wood fire on the patio from the night before. Just a few of the sights, sounds and smells of my everyday at home. I hate to leave it and feel instantly renewed when I return. I can be alone for days and weeks and not miss a thing. Wounder why the world is so crazy. They have all lost their minds. They can have it.
someone who just wants some company, who is comfortable with "simple" and with who they are, who is not looking to own or control or dominate, who can accept my faults and will share hers. i promise nothing and i will take nothing. if you look for more look else where.
