If I were to write about myself, It would be nothing more than a list of only those characteristic, idiosyncrasies and quirks that are “positive”, “normal” and “cool” leaving you with nothing more than a description of some fictitious character I created We all might as well describe a Looney Tune characters and post a picture of Daffy or Bugs. I of course would have posted Wiley Coyote, and you the Road Runner.
I am not suggesting that the entire online dating community consists of all pathological liars. Just that when we think of ourselves we tend to forget, refuse to believe and completely fail to see, that long list negative, twisted and possibly dangerous characteristics, idiosyncrasies and quirks that are so blatant to those closest to us.We would get a more honest and accurate discription, more likely to include the good, the bad and the ugly, if this section of your profile were intitled “HAVE YOUR PAROLE OFFICER, BOSS, or X LOVER DESCRIBE YOU”So take a risk and ask, it would be more interesting and entertaining then reading fiction.
